Beginner
Objectives
At Checkmate Sensei Academy, we ignite curiosity and build a strong foundation in young minds. In this early stage, kids begin learning essential chess fundamentals and simple strategies in a fun, engaging way. Our goal is to help them develop the confidence to play individual games with clarity, focus, and joy. We guide aspiring players toward competitive excellence. At this level, students begin participating in club-level and state-level tournaments, gaining real-world experience and sharpening their competitive edge. Our structured training focuses on advanced strategies, time management, and psychological readiness—key ingredients for success in rated events. With regular assessments and tournament simulations, students build resilience, improve decision-making, and take confident steps toward earning their official FIDE rating

Objectives
At this advanced stage at Checkmate Sensei Academy, students are already FIDE-rated and now embark on the exciting journey toward the Grandmaster title. Training becomes deeply focused on positional understanding, endgame mastery, and advanced opening preparation. Every session is designed to refine subtle aspects of their play, helping them think like elite professionals and steadily progress toward achieving one of the highest honors in chess. With mentorship, analysis of master games, and high-level sparring, they prepare for the global stage.

Schedule
Beginner level
Our program includes two 45-minute classes each week, with small group sizes of 3–5 kids for personalized attention. Students also enjoy free access to academy practice sessions and tournaments.
Intermediate level
Each batch includes two 45-minute classes per week, conducted in small groups of 3–5 kids to ensure focused learning. Students also get free access to academy-led practice sessions and tournaments.
Advanced level
Our sessions are held twice a week, each lasting 60 minutes, with a maximum of 5 kids per group to ensure quality interaction. Students also enjoy free academy practice sessions and tournaments.
